In the 42nd minute, Luizinho Rosado ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gildo Motta was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. When Paulinho Arósio came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Karamelo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paulinho Arósio couldn't finish the play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Paulinho Arósio to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Warriors FC's Luizinho Rosado got a free kick in the 52nd minute.
