If Allan Fernandes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 15th minute, Allan Fernandes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sebastião Salles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luizinho Hermes having to interfere. Luizinho Hermes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sebastião Salles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Allan Fernandes charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Allan Fernandes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Porto Alegre FC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Allan Fernandes hit a great ball. Duda Baptista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cesinha de Brito in the 30th minute of the match. 34 minutes into the game, Geraldo Maciel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cupom FNX's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Porto Alegre FC the free kick. A collision led to Cupom FNX getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Geraldo Maciel hit a great ball. Porto Alegre FC's Leonel da Rocha suffered a concussion after 36 minutes and had to leave the field. After 36 minutes, Vinícius Siqueira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cupom FNX and the Porto Alegre FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Luizinho Hermes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Allan Fernandes in the 38th minute of play. Luizinho Hermes came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Porto Alegre FC's Allan Fernandes. But to his dismay, Allan Fernandes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Allan Fernandes struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Luizinho Hermes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Porto Alegre FC. With a little luck, Cupom FNX's Luizinho Hermes got control of the ball when Allan Fernandes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Duda Baptista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vinícius Siqueira in the 67th minute of the match. Cupom FNX's Luizinho Hermes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Cupom FNX from getting a goal against them. When Sílvio Quirino came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Porto Alegre FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sílvio Quirino couldn't finish the play. In the 72nd match minute, Porto Alegre FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agnaldo Vieira to maneuver through the defense. Allan Fernandes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Cupom FNX's zone, Sílvio Quirino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luizinho Hermes came out of the goal and Sílvio Quirino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vinícius Siqueira got his second yellow card in the match during the 83rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Vinícius Siqueira hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. In the 87th minute of the match Porto Alegre FC got a corner. Cupom FNX's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Natã Bertassi ran over to the corner to take the kick. When Sebastião Salles came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Porto Alegre FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sebastião Salles couldn't finish the play. If Sílvio Quirino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Porto Alegre FC's goalkeeper Duda Baptista, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Allan Fernandes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Luizinho Hermes made a huge save. When the final whistle sounded Porto Alegre FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Cupom FNX.
