Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Thiago Pena got the match started through his kick off. Chamuscada's Beto Urbano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nilson de Amorim in the 3rd minute of play. Beto Urbano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nilson de Amorim's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. In the 10th minute, one of Chamuscada:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Chamuscada. Zé Pedro Batista placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Carlos Eduardo Mattos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carlos Eduardo Mattos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 16th match minute, Sapiranga F C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedrão Zonta to maneuver through the defense. 19 minutes into the game, Sapiranga F C's Pong Elin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Beto Urbano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Chamuscada's Beto Urbano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nilson de Amorim in the 26th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nilson de Amorim in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Beto Urbano saved Chamuscada from getting behind. In the 31st minute Nilson de Amorim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beto Urbano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Sapiranga F C's Filip Mentus got control of the ball when Carlos Eduardo Mattos tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 38 minutes, Gino Gaspar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chamuscada and the Sapiranga F C players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 38th minute, Gino Gaspar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 39 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Pong Elin sped through Chamuscada's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Beto Urbano. After some fancy dribbling in the 49th minute, Pong Elin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sapiranga F C's supporters rose to their feet, but Pong Elin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Beto Urbano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half Sapiranga F C were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Pong Elin made the kick off in the second half. Beto Urbano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nilson de Amorim, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 58th play minute Pong Elin came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Beto Urbano. 0-4. With his leg Beto Urbano managed to avoid a goal in the 63rdth minute, when Sapiranga F C's Nilson de Amorim fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Eduardo Mattos in the 64th minute of play forced Sapiranga F C's goalkeeper Filip Mentus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nilson de Amorim had several of the Chamuscada's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 66 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-5 score and a disappointed Beto Urbano as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 75thth minute of the game Nilson de Amorim who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chamuscada's Beto Urbano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 75th minute, Paulo José Queirós hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Chamuscada defense, Pong Elin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Beto Urbano. The Chamuscada fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Beto Urbano should have stopped the shot. With his leg Beto Urbano managed to avoid a goal in the 86thth minute, when Sapiranga F C's Pong Elin fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Beto Urbano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pong Elin in the 90th minute. Pong Elin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Beto Urbano made a huge save. Sapiranga F C's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
