Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Thiago Pena got the match started through his kick off. Carlos Eduardo Mattos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Samuel Bittencourt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thiago Pena in the 6th minute of the match. In the 9th minute Thiago Pena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samuel Bittencourt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 11th minute, Carlos Eduardo Mattos fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Samuel Bittencourt, passed just outside the right post. Thiago Pena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel Bittencourt having to interfere. In the 14th minute, Davi Cavalcante hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Henrique Vieira fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chamuscada's protests and gave Henrique Vieira a yellow card for diving instead. After 19 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Chamuscada! An unexpectedly hard shot by Thiago Pena in the 27th minute of play forced Marrao's goalkeeper Samuel Bittencourt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 32 played minutes Chamuscada got a freekick which was hit by Paulo José Queirós. After having played for 34 minutes, Duda Sanches managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marrao's supporters crossed their fingers, but Duda Sanches was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Beto Urbano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmílson Cardozo in the 36th minute of play. Duda Sanches fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Beto Urbano having to interfere. Edmílson Cardozo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Beto Urbano having to interfere. If Edmílson Cardozo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Duda Sanches struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Beto Urbano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marrao. After the first half Marrao were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Duda Sanches made a kick off. Duda Sanches struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Beto Urbano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marrao. Chamuscada's Beto Urbano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Duda Sanches in the 53rd minute of play. Marrao's Edmílson Cardozo got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zézinho Baiano in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Beto Urbano saved Chamuscada from getting behind. Beto Urbano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edmílson Cardozo in the 63rd minute. Edmílson Cardozo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Beto Urbano made a huge save. Edmílson Cardozo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Beto Urbano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edmílson Cardozo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edmílson Cardozo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Duda Sanches recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Duda Sanches might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Beto Urbano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Duda Sanches ran back to his position shaking his head. With his leg Beto Urbano managed to avoid a goal in the 80thth minute, when Marrao's Edmílson Cardozo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Duda Sanches had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Beto Urbano came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Marrao's Edmílson Cardozo. But to his dismay, Edmílson Cardozo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. When the match was over Marrao could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Chamuscada throughout the match.
