Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) In the 3rd match minute, Azurita was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edson Pernambucano to maneuver through the defense. Kalore's Edson Pontes got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 8thth minute of the game Pedro Luís Perez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kalore's Luiz Fábio Cabral was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Silvinho Alagoano's late challenge caught a Azurita's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Silvinho Alagoano helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Kalore's Silvinho Alagoano got a free kick in the 11th minute. Gláuber de Toledo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Eduardo Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luiz Fábio Cabral didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pedro Paulo Borges went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Kalore's zone, Pedro Luís Perez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luiz Fábio Cabral came out of the goal and Pedro Luís Perez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Luís Perez in the 31st minute of play forced Kalore's goalkeeper Luiz Fábio Cabral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Laerte Reis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 36th minute, Carlos Eduardo Montenegro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Azurita getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Laércio Faria hit a great ball. Gláuber de Toledo was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Edson Pontes. Carlos Eduardo Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gláuber de Toledo having to interfere. Luiz Fábio Cabral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Luís Perez in the 46th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Pedro Paulo Borges made the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Denílson Campidelis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlos Eduardo Montenegro in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gláuber de Toledo saved Azurita from getting behind. Laerte Reis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Azurita's zone, Laerte Reis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gláuber de Toledo came out of the goal and Laerte Reis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kalore's Luiz Fábio Cabral proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Kalore from getting a goal against them. In the 85th minute of the match, Pedro Luís Perez got a very nice opportunity to score, but Luiz Fábio Cabral was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Azurita's Gláuber de Toledo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laerte Reis in the 89th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Azurita walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
