Oséas Camargo guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafa de Alcântara in the 20th minute of play forced Era's goalkeeper Oséas Camargo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The attack was good, but when Simão Souza in the 23rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marquinhos Alagoano got free with Magno Travassos in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dedé Quadros kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Magno Travassos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Váldson Melo in the 32nd minute of play. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Simão Souza was the one to do the kick off. In the 51stth minute of the game Michel Moura who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Era's Oséas Camargo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rafa de Alcântara could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Oséas Camargo made a huge save. Hortêncio Hoffmann scored 1-2 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Magno Travassos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Magno Travassos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Váldson Melo, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Oséas Camargo made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Simão Souza sent off a good shot on target. Whoff S.C's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
