Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Caetano Amaral took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 7 minutes of play, Aimorés's Zeca Viana made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Naldo Reis was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Paulinho Aguiar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 11 minutes into the match, Manoel Mendes notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Aimorés's Percival Guimarães. Percival Guimarães was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Percival Guimarães stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zé Pedro Senna's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. Zé Pedro Senna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Percival Guimarães tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Caetano Amaral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Naldo Reis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paulinho Aguiar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Percival Guimarães having to interfere. When Paulinho Aguiar came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Atalho SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paulinho Aguiar couldn't finish the play. Caetano Amaral scored 2-1 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Naldo Reis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zeca Viana got free with Naldo Reis in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 37 minutes into the match, Aimorés's Caetano Amaral sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Naldo Reis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Maicon Mineiro charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Maicon Mineiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Atalho SS's Maicon Mineiro got a free kick in the 38th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Caetano Amaral managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aimorés's supporters rose to their feet, but Caetano Amaral was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Naldo Reis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 40th match minute, Atalho SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marco Hoffmann to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 42 minutes, Zeca Viana managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aimorés's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zeca Viana was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Paulinho Aguiar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Atalho SS getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Maicon Mineiro hit a great ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Zé Pedro Senna made the kick off in the second half. Percival Guimarães made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Zé Pedro Senna sent off a good shot on target. Percival Guimarães came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Atalho SS's Zé Pedro Senna. But to his dismay, Zé Pedro Senna quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Percival Guimarães made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulinho Aguiar in the 58th minute of play. When Caetano Amaral came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Aimorés fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Caetano Amaral couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Aimorés defense, Zé Pedro Senna kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Percival Guimarães. The Aimorés fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Percival Guimarães should have stopped the shot. In the 70th minute Zeca Viana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Naldo Reis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Caetano Amaral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Atalho SS's goalkeeper Naldo Reis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Zeca Viana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Naldo Reis having to interfere. Naldo Reis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zeca Viana, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Zeca Viana charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zeca Viana the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulinho Aguiar in the 94th minute of play forced Aimorés's goalkeeper Percival Guimarães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 95 minutes, Dênis Tande mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Aimorés and the Atalho SS players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dênis Tande hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. The Aimorés fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Atalho SS were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
