Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Paulão Miranda made the kick off which started today's match. In the 2nd minute, Basílio Pimenta reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Váldson Duarte. The goal made the score 1-0. The supporters of Itapiranga FC booed when SER Renascença was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luiz Gustavo Marques didn't get a good kick on the ball. Otávio Mineiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrézinho de Amorim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Váldson Duarte made an important save on a dangerous shot by Frederico Lopes in the 14th minute. In the 16th minute, Frederico Lopes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Andrézinho de Amorim might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Otávio Mineiro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Andrézinho de Amorim ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience was convinced that Paulão Miranda's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Otávio Mineiro was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Itapiranga FC's Roger Valadares got a free kick in the 23rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Paulão Miranda managed to get in a good position for a shot. SER Renascença's supporters rose to their feet, but Paulão Miranda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Otávio Mineiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Andrézinho de Amorim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Otávio Mineiro having to interfere. In the 28th minute Paulão Miranda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Otávio Mineiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Basílio Pimenta took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Váldson Duarte. Váldson Duarte dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Itapiranga FC's zone, Andrézinho de Amorim stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Otávio Mineiro came out of the goal and Andrézinho de Amorim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Andrézinho de Amorim in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Otávio Mineiro saved Itapiranga FC from getting behind. 47 minutes into the game, Afonsinho Simões was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Itapiranga FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SER Renascença the free kick. In the 47th match minute, Itapiranga FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Afonsinho Simões to maneuver through the defense. Frederico Lopes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 49th minute. Váldson Duarte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

If Frederico Lopes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Afonsinho Simões was shown his second yellow card after 63 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 63 played minutes Itapiranga FC got a freekick which was hit by Afonsinho Simões. After a defensive mix-up in Itapiranga FC's zone, Paulão Miranda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Otávio Mineiro came out of the goal and Paulão Miranda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Frederico Lopes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, SER Renascença's Sandrinho Teixeira got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Frederico Lopes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 84 played minutes Itapiranga FC got a freekick which was hit by Basílio Pimenta. Otávio Mineiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulão Miranda in the 85th minute of the match. 86 minutes into the match, SER Renascença's goal looked a bit too open when Frederico Lopes came free, but Váldson Duarte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Frederico Lopes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Váldson Duarte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Célio Faria fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Itapiranga FC's protests and gave Célio Faria a yellow card for diving instead. Célio Faria kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. The attack was good, but when Frederico Lopes in the 93rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Roger Valadares hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match. If Paulão Miranda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 100th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
