Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Pedrão Freitas kicked off to start the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Frederico Lopes in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lino Moreno prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emerson da Fonseca during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 8th minute, Emerson da Fonseca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 9 minutes into the match, Jordania SS's goal looked a bit too open when Frederico Lopes came free, but Lino Moreno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 10th minute, Jordania SS's Pedrão Freitas ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Otávio Mineiro. Otávio Mineiro yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Itapiranga FC's Frederico Lopes got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 16 played minutes Jordania SS got a freekick which was hit by Emerson da Fonseca. In the 19th minute of the match Itapiranga FC got a corner. Jordania SS's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Célio Faria ran over to the corner to take the kick. Lino Moreno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frederico Lopes in the 21st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Basílio Pimenta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Itapiranga FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Basílio Pimenta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lino Moreno breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Frederico Lopes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Basílio Pimenta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Frederico Lopes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Lino Moreno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Itapiranga FC booed when Jordania SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zé Augusto Mello didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 44th minute, Roger Valadares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 46 minutes into the match, Itapiranga FC's goalkeeper Otávio Mineiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rui Tinoco. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Basílio Pimenta to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Basílio Pimenta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lino Moreno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 56th minute, Dagoberto Couto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Otávio Mineiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedrão Freitas, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Otávio Mineiro came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Jordania SS's Pedrão Freitas. But to his dismay, Pedrão Freitas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Basílio Pimenta in the 66th minute of play forced Jordania SS's goalkeeper Lino Moreno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frederico Lopes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Lino Moreno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Jordania SS defense, Frederico Lopes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lino Moreno. The Jordania SS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lino Moreno should have stopped the shot. Lino Moreno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Basílio Pimenta in the 96th minute of play.
