Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Manfredo Marquez kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd match minute, Araucaria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antônio Ferraz to maneuver through the defense. 5 minutes into the match, Eliseu Matos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Válter Medeiros. Araucaria's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eliseu Matos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Válter Medeiros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elano Senna, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Bicudos SS's Edgar Donato played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Waldir Cunha in the 20th minute of play. Araucaria's Manfredo Marquez got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Bicudos SS's zone, Manfredo Marquez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgar Donato came out of the goal and Manfredo Marquez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eliseu Matos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Manfredo Marquez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Araucaria's supporters rose to their feet, but Manfredo Marquez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edgar Donato breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Edgar Donato stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Manfredo Marquez's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. Araucaria's Waldir Cunha got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Waldir Cunha took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edgar Donato. Edgar Donato dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 40th match minute, Araucaria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valdo Goiano to maneuver through the defense. Elano Senna struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Válter Medeiros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bicudos SS. In the 47th minute Manfredo Marquez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgar Donato saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Elano Senna to strike the kick off in the second half. Antônio Ferraz kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. If Waldir Cunha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 61st minute, Charles Xavier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Waldir Cunha could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Edgar Donato made a huge save. Bicudos SS's Edgar Donato played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manfredo Marquez in the 72nd minute of play. If Waldir Cunha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, Araucaria's Edgar Donato threw himself towards the right post 76 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Manfredo Marquez, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Waldir Cunha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgar Donato having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Araucaria's Antônio Ferraz got a free kick in the 81st minute. Bicudos SS's Edgar Donato played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manfredo Marquez in the 85th minute of play. After 90 played minutes Manfredo Marquez rounded Bicudos SS's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-2. A collision led to Araucaria getting a freekick after 93 minutes play.
