Jonas Vidal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Osvaldo Varela got free with Donatello Andrade in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Eliézer Mendonça came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the É osguri fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eliézer Mendonça couldn't finish the play. Donatello Andrade showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliézer Mendonça, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 38th minute Ronaldo de Sousa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donatello Andrade saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Eliézer Mendonça had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Paulo Varela stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Osvaldo Varela took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Donatello Andrade. Donatello Andrade dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 56th match minute, Itajubaquara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Willian Gerber to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 57 minutes, Osvaldo Varela managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. É osguri's supporters crossed their fingers, but Osvaldo Varela was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. É osguri's Ronaldo de Sousa got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 60th minute, Osvaldo Varela made a precise shot to the right of Donatello Andrade. Itajubaquara's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. When Osvaldo Varela came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the É osguri fans jumped to their feet. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osvaldo Varela in the 94th minute of play forced Itajubaquara's goalkeeper Donatello Andrade to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Donatello Andrade showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliézer Mendonça in the 95th minute of the match. Willian Gerber kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match.
