Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) TATETUBA's Lucas de Medeiros started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute of the match, Olavo Paraibano tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Wellington Souto saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 5th minute, Marcelo Vander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. TATETUBA's Lucas de Medeiros got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zézinho Paraibano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Olavo Paraibano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 22nd minute, Zézinho Paraibano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Victor Zanette hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. In the 26th match minute, TATETUBA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Régis Braga to maneuver through the defense. Frank Pinho hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lucas de Medeiros in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benê Botelho saved Goitacases FC from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Laércio de Senna in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benê Botelho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Zézinho Paraibano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Wellington Souto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benê Botelho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucas de Medeiros, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zézinho Paraibano got free with Wellington Souto in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 38th minute, Régis Braga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benê Botelho didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Laércio de Senna went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 47 minutes into the match, Zézinho Paraibano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wellington Souto. TATETUBA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zézinho Paraibano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Olavo Paraibano to strike the kick off in the second half. When Goitacases FC's Zézinho Paraibano in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye TATETUBA's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 57 minutes, Lucas de Medeiros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TATETUBA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucas de Medeiros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 59 played minutes TATETUBA got a freekick which was hit by Victor Zanette. In the 62nd minute of the match, Lucas de Medeiros tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Benê Botelho saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. TATETUBA's Wellington Souto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zézinho Paraibano in the 63rd minute of play. Laércio de Sennas short, quick shot in the 70thth minute got Benê Botelho to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Goitacases FC's goalkeeper Benê Botelho, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Goitacases FC's Olavo Paraibano in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye TATETUBA's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zézinho Paraibano in the 79th minute of play forced TATETUBA's goalkeeper Wellington Souto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of TATETUBA booed when Goitacases FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Deivid Montenegro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Régis Braga didn't quite understand what happened when in the 83 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. The crowd rose to their feet as Lucas de Medeiros kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Benê Botelho. That made the score 1-2 in the 86 minute of play. After 90 played minutes Lucas de Medeiros rounded Goitacases FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-3. Victor Zanette kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Zézinho Paraibano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched TATETUBA eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
