The audience was convinced that Zézinho Campidelis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but José Carlos Munhoz was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. Marcelinho Carioca who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 4thth minute tested the skills of Eliseu Miranda when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 5th minute, Rafa Fontes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With splendid footwork Alexandre Velasco arrived in front of goal to shoot 1-0 by the left pole in the game's 9th minute. Eliseu Miranda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelinho Carioca, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Eliseu Miranda came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Ibiassuce EC's Marcelinho Carioca. But to his dismay, Marcelinho Carioca quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. João Francisco Baptista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. José Carlos Munhoz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zézinho Campidelis, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Caio Donato kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Marcelinho Carioca who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 27thth minute tested the skills of Eliseu Miranda when he managed to save the team from getting behind. José Carlos Munhoz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Caio Donato, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eliseu Miranda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelinho Carioca, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Eliseu Miranda was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Tadeu Trevisan showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 32 minute of play. In the 36thth minute of the game Marcelinho Carioca who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ipuzinho's Eliseu Miranda was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 38th minute, Marcelinho Carioca fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Tadeu Trevisan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Ibiassuce EC's Marcelinho Carioca in the 48th minute got a chance for a shot 48th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ipuzinho's goalie prevented a goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Caio Donato made the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes, Gilvan Breckenfeld mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ipuzinho and the Ibiassuce EC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Ipuzinho getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Gilvan Breckenfeld hit a great ball. Kaká Schmidt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Ibiassuce EC's José Carlos Munhoz got control of the ball when Zézinho Campidelis tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 59th minute Caio Donato shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Carlos Munhoz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcelinho Carioca in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eliseu Miranda saved Ipuzinho from getting behind. Eliseu Miranda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelinho Carioca, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. When the match clock showed 66 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Marcelinho Carioca sped through Ipuzinho's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Eliseu Miranda. Rafa Fontes's late challenge caught a Ibiassuce EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rafa Fontes helped the player get up and apologised. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Marcelinho Carioca managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ibiassuce EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcelinho Carioca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eliseu Miranda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eliseu Miranda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelinho Carioca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alexandre Velasco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 88 minutes into the match, Marcelinho Carioca notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Ipuzinho's Eliseu Miranda. Eliseu Miranda was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 92 minutes of play, Ibiassuce EC's Marcelinho Carioca made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eliseu Miranda was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the referee ended the match the Ibiassuce EC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
