Dedê Sabóia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cauã Monteiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. After having played for 9 minutes, Valdomiro Oliveira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Internacional's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valdomiro Oliveira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horácio Macedo in the 10th minute of play forced Firmamento's goalkeeper Clóvis Trevisan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Clóvis Trevisan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amílton Pinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. After 13 minutes, Cauã Monteiro made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. SC Internacional's Dedê Sabóia tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With his leg Dedê Sabóia managed to avoid a goal in the 17thth minute, when Firmamento's Cauã Monteiro fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 19th minute, SC Internacional's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Cauã Monteiro fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Dedê Sabóia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cauã Monteiro went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. In the 26th match minute, SC Internacional was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anísio Leme to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of SC Internacional booed when Firmamento was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christiano Freire didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 38 minutes, Christiano Freire mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Firmamento and the SC Internacional players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Firmamento's Christiano Freire got a free kick in the 38th minute. Valdomiro Oliveira scored 2-1 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Clóvis Trevisan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gilvan Veiga kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. In the 46thth minute of the game Valdomiro Oliveira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Firmamento's Clóvis Trevisan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 47th minute, Christiano Freire hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Roberto Mangueira in the 53rd minute of play forced SC Internacional's goalkeeper Dedê Sabóia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cauã Monteiro might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dedê Sabóia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cauã Monteiro ran back to his position shaking his head. Dedê Sabóia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anísio Dias in the 59th minute of the match. After 59 played minutes SC Internacional got a freekick which was hit by Horácio Macedo. When Firmamento's Cauã Monteiro in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Internacional's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, SC Internacional's Horácio Macedo got a free kick in the 65th minute. Dedê Sabóia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cauã Monteiro's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. When Firmamento's Cauã Monteiro in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Internacional's goalie prevented a goal. After 79 played minutes SC Internacional got a freekick which was hit by Dorival Severo. A collision led to SC Internacional getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Anísio Leme hit a great ball. If Cauã Monteiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 86 played minutes SC Internacional got a freekick which was hit by Dorival Severo. Dedê Sabóia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cauã Monteiro's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. Anísio Dias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dedê Sabóia having to interfere. Dorival Severo took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Clóvis Trevisan. Clóvis Trevisan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. With a little luck, Firmamento's Clóvis Trevisan got control of the ball when Valdomiro Oliveira tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 95 minutes of play, Firmamento's Cauã Monteiro made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dedê Sabóia was left in no man's land by his defense there! There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Firmamento fully deserved thier win.
