Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Cássio Zilles took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpected shot in the 5th minute by Cristiano Pinho got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Pikastofly FC's Tomás de Toledo pulled a muscle in his back after 9 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Válbson Leão charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Válbson Leão the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Pikastofly FC booed when Marrecao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Válbson Leão didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Marrecao's zone, Cristiano Pinho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gugu Valadares came out of the goal and Cristiano Pinho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 16 minutes into the match, Cristiano Pinho notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Marrecao's Gugu Valadares. Gugu Valadares was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Marrecao's goalkeeper Gugu Valadares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 20 played minutes Marrecao got a freekick which was hit by Mauro Aguiar. A collision led to Pikastofly FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Tião Prestes hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Marrecao's Ernesto Vieira tried to score from far away in the 27th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 33 minutes into the match, Pikastofly FC's Cristiano Pinho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gugu Valadares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gugu Valadares made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Cristiano Pinho sent off a good shot on target. When Serafim Cordeiro fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pikastofly FC's protests and gave Serafim Cordeiro a yellow card for diving instead. Serafim Cordeiro hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Cássio Zilles struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Emanuel Berger didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marrecao. After 46 played minutes, Marrecao's Ernesto Vieira shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Emanuel Berger came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Marrecao reached it. Cássio Zilles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Emanuel Berger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cristiano Pinho to make the kick off. If Cristiano Pinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gugu Valadares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristiano Pinho in the 65th minute of play. Gugu Valadares came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Pikastofly FC's Cristiano Pinho. But to his dismay, Cristiano Pinho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Cássio Zilles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Cristiano Pinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sydney Costa might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gugu Valadares. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sydney Costa ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristiano Pinho in the 79th minute of play forced Marrecao's goalkeeper Gugu Valadares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Sydney Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pikastofly FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sydney Costa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gugu Valadares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cristiano Pinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 83 minutes, Cristiano Pinho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pikastofly FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristiano Pinho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Válbson Leão could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Emanuel Berger made a huge save. Hermínio Favoretto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gugu Valadares having to interfere. Marrecao's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
