Cucuruto da Vovó's Waldemar Furlan suffered a sore thigh after 21 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Danilo Rosa charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Raimundo Cardoso ran back to his position shaking his head. When Egídio Diniz came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Cucuruto da Vovó fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Egídio Diniz couldn't finish the play. Flavinho Veiga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Tasso in the 42nd minute of play. Flavinho Veiga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Egídio Diniz in the 42nd minute of the match. Jânio Fernandez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Elivélton Costa having to make a save. Hugo Fernandez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aterrado FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Egídio Diniz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. In the 86th minute, Egídio Diniz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Flavinho Veiga was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Egídio Diniz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flavinho Veiga having to interfere. Egídio Diniz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Flavinho Veiga made a huge save. A collision led to Aterrado FC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Magno Valle hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joel Tasso during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The audience thought a goal was coming when Egídio Diniz got free with Flavinho Veiga in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match was over Cucuruto da Vovó could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Aterrado FC throughout the match.
