Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Benjamim Freire showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raimundo Cardoso in the 2nd minute of the match. Benjamim Freire took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raimundo Cardoso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cucuruto da Vovó's Waldemar Furlan got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to El Gallinero getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Marcinho Falcão hit a great ball. 11 minutes into the match, El Gallinero's goal looked a bit too open when Raimundo Cardoso came free, but Benjamim Freire reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Egídio Diniz took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benjamim Freire. Benjamim Freire dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Waldemar Furlan hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. El Gallinero's Júnior Costa couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Cucuruto da Vovó. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Magno Ramalho managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Gallinero's supporters rose to their feet, but Magno Ramalho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elivélton Costa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Edmílson Esteves came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the El Gallinero fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edmílson Esteves couldn't finish the play. Elivélton Costa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Magno Ramalho in the 36th minute of play. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cucuruto da Vovó's goalkeeper Elivélton Costa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Egídio Diniz struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Benjamim Freire didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cucuruto da Vovó. Elivélton Costa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Magno Ramalho went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Benjamim Freire showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Fabiano Bertassi in the 46th minute of the match. A collision led to El Gallinero getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Marcinho Falcão hit a great ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Raimundo Cardoso was the one to do the kick off. When Egídio Diniz came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Cucuruto da Vovó fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Egídio Diniz couldn't finish the play. Egídio Diniz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 67th minute Magno Ramalho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elivélton Costa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Cucuruto da Vovó booed when El Gallinero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juninho Esteves didn't get a good kick on the ball. Egídio Diniz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 75th minute Raimundo Cardoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamim Freire saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to El Gallinero getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Marcinho Falcão hit a great ball. In the 82nd minute of the match Serafim Faria sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benjamim Freire skillfully saved the ball. In the 83rd minute, Bruninho Berger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 84 minutes, Egídio Diniz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cucuruto da Vovó's supporters crossed their fingers, but Egídio Diniz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Raimundo Cardoso blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benjamim Freire having to make a save. A collision led to El Gallinero getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Washington Melo hit a great ball. After 88 played minutes Cucuruto da Vovó got a freekick which was hit by Waldemar Furlan. Cucuruto da Vovó's Elivélton Costa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Magno Ramalho in the 89th minute of play. In the 93rd minute Egídio Diniz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamim Freire saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
