Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Victor Pirani started the match with the kick off. After having played for 6 minutes, Willian Faria managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gama's supporters crossed their fingers, but Willian Faria was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Willian Faria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Willian Faria in the 13th minute of play forced godines bc's goalkeeper Fernandão Sena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Willian Faria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 17th minute, Willian Faria got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fernandão Sena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmílson Tepedino in the 21st minute of play. After 29 played minutes, godines bc's Baltazar Valadares shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Leopoldo Simões came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in godines bc reached it. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Rafa Fontes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gama's supporters rose to their feet, but Rafa Fontes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fernandão Sena breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 34 played minutes godines bc got a freekick which was hit by Eriberto Lucas. In the 35th minute of the match Claudinho Lago sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fernandão Sena skillfully saved the ball. Edmílson Tepedino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Fernandão Sena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 39 minutes, Edmílson Tepedino made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. godines bc's Fernandão Sena tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Fiori Dias kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. 48 minutes into the game, Victor Pirani was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. godines bc's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gama the free kick. After the first half Gama were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edmílson Tepedino stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fiori Dias's late challenge caught a godines bc's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fiori Dias helped the player get up and apologised. After 59 minutes of play, godines bc's Victor Pirani made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leopoldo Simões was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 63rd minute of the game. One of godines bc:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Gama:s goal. Fernandão Sena didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edmílson Tepedino went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Fernandão Sena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmílson Tepedino in the 76th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eriberto Lucas during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Edmílson Tepedino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Fernandão Sena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Willian Faria in the 84thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Fernandão Sena, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Willian Faria recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fernandão Sena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmílson Tepedino in the 91st minute of the match. Willian Faria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernandão Sena having to interfere. Edmílson Tepedino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gama's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
