Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gilson Trevisan in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Giuseppe Brasil prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 91 minutes into the match, Cafesal's goal looked a bit too open when Maurício Abreu came free, but Giuseppe Brasil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gilson Trevisan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Giuseppe Brasil read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. Petrópolis Red Devils's Maurício Abreu got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Petrópolis Red Devils's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
