Aguazinha's Válbson Gonçalves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernandão Siqueira in the 15th minute of play. Válbson Gonçalves didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marmita Azeda FC. Válbson Gonçalves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernandão Siqueira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 42 minutes into the match, Marmita Azeda FC's goalkeeper Yan Garcia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Umberto Penha. Evaristo Mazza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yan Garcia having to interfere. Fernandão Siqueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Válbson Gonçalves having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Evaristo Mazza stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, Aguazinha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Breckenfeld to maneuver through the defense. When Betão Moura came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Marmita Azeda FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Betão Moura couldn't finish the play. If Fernandão Siqueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 58 played minutes Aguazinha got a freekick which was hit by Henrique do Valle. Fernandão Siqueira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Válbson Gonçalves made a huge save. 62 minutes into the match, Aguazinha's goalkeeper Válbson Gonçalves had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Betão Moura. Evaristo Mazza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yan Garcia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. 72 minutes into the game, Betão Moura was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Marmita Azeda FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Aguazinha the free kick. Thanks to some nice moves Fernandão Siqueira could shoot a difficult shot in the 82nd minute, which Válbson Gonçalves however easily saved by the left post. If Fernandão Siqueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Túlio Miranda was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 84th minute. Marmita Azeda FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Fernandão Siqueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Válbson Gonçalves having to interfere. 87 minutes into the game, Fernandão Siqueira recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Válbson Gonçalves. Fernandão Siqueira showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. Fernandão Siqueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 94 minutes into the match, Aguazinha's goalkeeper Válbson Gonçalves had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fernandão Siqueira. Válbson Gonçalves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafael Cruz in the 95th minute of the match. When the match was over Marmita Azeda FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Aguazinha throughout the match.
