The audience was convinced that Renato de Castro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Yan Garcia was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. In the 6th minute, Nelson Valle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had been going on for 7 minutes Benê de Moraes shot a great shot from long distance. It looked like a certain goal, but the audience witnessed a really smashing save by Chiquinho Tróia when he caught the ball only just under the crossbar. Rony Leite struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Yan Garcia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BRASILIENSE FC. Betão Moura's late challenge caught a BRASILIENSE FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Betão Moura helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of BRASILIENSE FC booed when Marmita Azeda FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Betão Moura didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Samuel Branco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 16 minutes into the game, Germano Duarte was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Marmita Azeda FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BRASILIENSE FC the free kick. 15 minutes into the game, one of Marmita Azeda FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Yan Garcia had in the 17thth minute some difficulties stopping Rony Leite's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Betão Moura hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Renato de Castro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yan Garcia having to interfere. Marmita Azeda FC's Yan Garcia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rubinho Domingues in the 22nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Renato de Castro in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yan Garcia saved Marmita Azeda FC from getting behind. 26 minutes into the game, José Vítor Maranhense was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Marmita Azeda FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BRASILIENSE FC the free kick. In the 32nd minute Samuel Branco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yan Garcia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rubinho Domingues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Yan Garcia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Renato de Castro, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Fernandão Siqueira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Chiquinho Tróia made a huge save. After 45 minutes, Nestor Netto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Marmita Azeda FC and the BRASILIENSE FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Nestor Netto hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Túlio Miranda to strike the kick off in the second half. Renato de Castro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Yan Garcia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rony Leite, 56 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 1-0 became the score in the 62nd minute when Fernandão Siqueira elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. When Renato de Castro came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the BRASILIENSE FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Renato de Castro couldn't finish the play. Samuel Branco struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Yan Garcia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BRASILIENSE FC. BRASILIENSE FC's Chiquinho Tróia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernandão Siqueira in the 69th minute of play. José Vítor Maranhense was shown his second yellow card after 72 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Marmita Azeda FC's José Vítor Maranhense got a free kick in the 73rd minute. BRASILIENSE FC's Rony Leite couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 74th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Marmita Azeda FC. Samuel Branco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Yan Garcia made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Renato de Castro in the 80th minute of play forced Marmita Azeda FC's goalkeeper Yan Garcia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Marmita Azeda FC's Betão Moura got a free kick in the 84th minute. Yan Garcia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Renato de Castro, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. In the 87th match minute, Marmita Azeda FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Germano Duarte to maneuver through the defense. In the 87th minute of the match Rony Leite sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Yan Garcia skillfully saved the ball. Many of BRASILIENSE FC's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. BRASILIENSE FC may have spent more time on the ball, but Marmita Azeda FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
