Eliézer Santana received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Antônio Carlos Cabral came out and tried to block the shot, but Eliézer Santana slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 6th minute. When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Eliézer Santana put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Antônio Carlos Cabral. Through an outstanding action, after 12 minutes, Antônio Carlos Cabral successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Vladimir Tinoco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Narciso Severo in the 16th minute of play. Antônio Carlos Cabral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Genílson Severo in the 20th minute of play. When Danilo Paes fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Saraiva's protests and gave Danilo Paes a yellow card for diving instead. Danilo Paes hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Genílson Severo during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Genílson Severo kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. In the 23rd minute Narciso Severo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vladimir Tinoco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 24 played minutes Brama got a freekick which was hit by Falcão Tepedino. Brama's Vladimir Tinoco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Paulo Montenegro in the 28th minute of play. Antônio Carlos Cabral made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Eliézer Santana sent off a good shot on target. In the 31st minute, Otávio Marques reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Antônio Carlos Cabral. The goal made the score 3-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Brama's Egídio Paes slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Antônio Carlos Cabral. That made the score 4-0 after 34 minutes of play. 39 minutes into the match, Otávio Marques dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Antônio Carlos Cabral, 5-0. Antônio Carlos Cabral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliézer Santana, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. 45 minutes into the game, Zé Paulo Montenegro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Saraiva's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Brama the free kick. After 46 played minutes Saraiva got a freekick which was hit by Zé Paulo Montenegro. Saraiva's Antônio Carlos Cabral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Otávio Marques in the 48th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

Vladimir Tinoco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zé Paulo Montenegro in the 52nd minute of play. Manuel Furlan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 56 minutes into the game, Narciso Severo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Vladimir Tinoco was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Manuel Furlan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Saraiva's supporters rose to their feet, but Manuel Furlan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vladimir Tinoco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 70th minute, Zé Paulo Montenegro reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Vladimir Tinoco. The goal made the score 5-2. Vladimir Tinoco made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Narciso Severo sent off a good shot on target. In the 80th minute of the match Egídio Paes shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Antônio Carlos Cabral showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Benedito das Neves kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. In the 84th play minute Válter Albuquerque came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Vladimir Tinoco. 5-4. In the 87th match minute, Saraiva was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Narciso Severo to maneuver through the defense. Saraiva's Antônio Carlos Cabral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliézer Santana in the 91st minute of play. Antônio Carlos Cabral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliézer Santana, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. After 92 minutes, Lenílson Paranaense mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Saraiva and the Brama players grew even worse after the yellow card. 94 minutes into the match, Saraiva's goal looked a bit too open when Olívio Alves came free, but Antônio Carlos Cabral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
