Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Augusto Cordeiro took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 5th minute of the match Válter Bittencourt sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cristian dos Santos skillfully saved the ball. Carlos Augusto Vianna hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Adalmo Neiva kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Ismael Mesquita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristian dos Santos having to interfere. Augusto Cordeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raúl Neiva having to interfere. In the 23rd minute, Leopoldo Matorin made a precise shot to the right of Raúl Neiva. Campo Grande Football's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Edmílson Pereira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristian dos Santos having to interfere. Leopoldo Matorin who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 38thth minute tested the skills of Raúl Neiva when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Laércio Damião fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Campo Grande Football's protests and gave Laércio Damião a yellow card for diving instead. If Augusto Cordeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Malaquias's Cristian dos Santos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ismael Mesquita in the 42nd minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, Ismael Mesquita notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Malaquias's Cristian dos Santos. Cristian dos Santos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Ismael Mesquita fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Campo Grande Football's protests and gave Ismael Mesquita a yellow card for diving instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ismael Mesquita made a kick off. When Edmílson Pereira came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Campo Grande Football fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edmílson Pereira couldn't finish the play. 58 minutes into the game, Ismael Mesquita recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cristian dos Santos. Ismael Mesquita showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. 65 minutes into the game, Campo Grande Football's Edmílson Pereira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cristian dos Santos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Leopoldo Matorin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Malaquias's supporters rose to their feet, but Leopoldo Matorin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raúl Neiva breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Raúl Neiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leopoldo Matorin in the 77th minute of the match. Edmílson Pereira took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cristian dos Santos. Cristian dos Santos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ismael Mesquita in the 88th minute of play forced Malaquias's goalkeeper Cristian dos Santos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 91 minutes into the match, Malaquias's Luís Fernando Simão sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Raúl Neiva narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Leopoldo Matorin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Augusto Cordeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raúl Neiva having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Campo Grande Football walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
