Cabore EC's Rafinha Baptista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Egídio de Souza in the 6th minute of play. After 8 played minutes Teresina FC got a freekick which was hit by Armando Amaral. Rafinha Baptista took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Egídio de Souza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luan Medeiros kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Egídio de Souza in the 15th minute of play forced Cabore EC's goalkeeper Rafinha Baptista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18thth minute of the game Egídio de Souza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cabore EC's Rafinha Baptista was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Teresina FC booed when Cabore EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luan Medeiros didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leandro de Amaral made an important save on a dangerous shot by Amílton Castro in the 34th minute. Egídio de Souza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rafinha Baptista read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. Rafinha Baptista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivo Ferraz in the 39th minute of the match. 43 minutes into the match, Cabore EC's goal looked a bit too open when Ivo Ferraz came free, but Rafinha Baptista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fabinho Velasco to strike the kick off in the second half. Fabinho Velasco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Víktor Paranaense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Armando Amaral received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rafinha Baptista came out and tried to block the shot, but Armando Amaral slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 59th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Teresina FC's Egídio de Souza slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rafinha Baptista. That made the score 0-2 after 63 minutes of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frank Pirani got free with Rafinha Baptista in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zézinho Pernambucano hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Zézinho Pernambucano kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ivo Ferraz got free with Rafinha Baptista in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Egídio de Souza in the 87th minute of play forced Cabore EC's goalkeeper Rafinha Baptista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
