The supporters of Cabore EC booed when Araguaia SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osvaldinho da Cunha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fabinho Velasco in the 37thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Luís Gustavo Esteves, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Amílton Castro's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 38thth minute, Luís Gustavo Esteves skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Cabore EC's Amílton Castro slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Luís Gustavo Esteves. That made the score 2-0 after 41 minutes of play. Araguaia SC's Luís Gustavo Esteves proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Araguaia SC from getting a goal against them. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aleandro Correia to strike the kick off in the second half. Patrick Rezende kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Cabore EC's zone, Aleandro Correia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rafinha Baptista came out of the goal and Aleandro Correia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Fabinho Velasco put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Luís Gustavo Esteves. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Fabinho Velasco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cabore EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabinho Velasco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luís Gustavo Esteves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Fabinho Velasco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 74th minute Fabinho Velasco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Gustavo Esteves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After recieving a nice pass, Cabore EC's Jerônimo Velasco tried to score from far away in the 82nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. When Patrick Rezende came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Cabore EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patrick Rezende couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Araguaia SC's zone, Patrick Rezende stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luís Gustavo Esteves came out of the goal and Patrick Rezende tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 92 minutes into the game, Fabinho Velasco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Luís Gustavo Esteves was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
