The referee felt a red card was in order, 72 minutes into the game, when Silvinho Esteves put in a rough tackle. 71 minutes into the game, one of Carvalhos:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kléberson Senna during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Betinho Capixaba fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ▓►Ά₤ỤŁẲØ◄▓'s protests and gave Betinho Capixaba a yellow card for diving instead. In the 80th minute, Betinho Capixaba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kauan Martins stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Enio Tande's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. The audience was convinced that Enio Tande's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kauan Martins was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. Enio Tande sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amauri Secco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kauan Martins having to interfere. Carvalhos were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
