Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Romário Bertassi kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the match, Electro's goal looked a bit too open when João Paulo Maranhense came free, but Geovânio Perez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Romário Bertassi was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 5th minute. Electro's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 6 minutes into the match, Electro's Pierre Zahnleiter sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kléberson Leme narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Fabio Futebol Clube booed when Electro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Washington Seco didn't get a good kick on the ball. 11 minutes into the match, Electro's goal looked a bit too open when André Luís Vasconcelos came free, but Geovânio Perez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Romário Bertassi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nelsinho Gonçalves got free with Kléberson Leme in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Geovânio Perez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tostão Sampaio in the 16th minute of the match. In the 16thth minute of the game Tostão Sampaio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Electro's Geovânio Perez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 18 played minutes Electro got a freekick which was hit by Dário da Silveira. The supporters of Fabio Futebol Clube booed when Electro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Guilherme Sena didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Electro's zone, André Luís Vasconcelos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Geovânio Perez came out of the goal and André Luís Vasconcelos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Electro's Geovânio Perez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tostão Sampaio in the 25th minute of play. Geovânio Perez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tostão Sampaio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th match minute, Electro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lorenz Masas to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Nelsinho Gonçalves managed to get in a good position for a shot. Electro's supporters rose to their feet, but Nelsinho Gonçalves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kléberson Leme breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nelsinho Gonçalves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kléberson Leme having to interfere. Kléberson Leme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romário Bertassi in the 35th minute of the match. Geovânio Perez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tostão Sampaio's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. Electro's Nelsinho Gonçalves got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nelsinho Gonçalves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
Geovânio Perez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Luís Vasconcelos in the 51st minute of the match. When Nelsinho Gonçalves came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Electro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nelsinho Gonçalves couldn't finish the play. After 54 minutes of play, Electro's Nelsinho Gonçalves made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kléberson Leme was left in no man's land by his defense there! 58 minutes into the match, Nelsinho Gonçalves had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kléberson Leme. Fabio Futebol Clube's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nelsinho Gonçalves was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. If Romário Bertassi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When José Augusto Albuquerque fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Electro's protests and gave José Augusto Albuquerque a yellow card for diving instead. Electro:s Geovânio Perez showed great skill when he stopped Orlando Antunes:s penalty. Lorenz Masas hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Geovânio Perez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from André Luís Vasconcelos in the 83rd minute of play. Tostão Sampaio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Geovânio Perez made a huge save. Romário Bertassi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kléberson Leme having to interfere. Kléberson Leme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romário Bertassi, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. 98 minutes into the game, André Luís Vasconcelos recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Geovânio Perez. André Luís Vasconcelos showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1.
