Ademar Favoretto didn't get a good kick on the ball. 11 minutes into the match, Aposento SC's goal looked a bit too open when Kiko Maciel came free, but Fiori das Neves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ademar Favoretto hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. In the 13th minute of the match Basílio Barbosa shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ruy Vianna showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 15 minutes, Eduardo Vianna mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Aposento SC and the falcão players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 15 played minutes Aposento SC got a freekick which was hit by Eduardo Vianna. After a defensive mix-up in Aposento SC's zone, Kiko Maciel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fiori das Neves came out of the goal and Kiko Maciel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aposento SC's Fiori das Neves proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Aposento SC from getting a goal against them. After having played for 20 minutes, Kiko Maciel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. falcão's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kiko Maciel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Valério Carvalho got free with Fiori das Neves in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hernani de Toledo in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ruy Vianna prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 25 minutes into the match, Aposento SC's goalkeeper Fiori das Neves had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Valério Carvalho. If Valério Carvalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valério Carvalho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Fiori das Neves made a huge save. In the 29th minute, Dário de Amorim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kiko Maciel received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Fiori das Neves came out and tried to block the shot, but Kiko Maciel slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 34th minute. 37 minutes into the match, Aposento SC's goal looked a bit too open when Kiko Maciel came free, but Fiori das Neves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sabino Toledo hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. After 41 minutes, Kiko Maciel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the falcão and the Aposento SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Kiko Maciel in the 45th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Fiori das Neves kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 4-0 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kiko Maciel to make the kick off. When falcão's Valério Carvalho in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 67th minute Hernani de Toledo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruy Vianna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 72nd minute, Valério Carvalho made a precise shot to the right of Fiori das Neves. Aposento SC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. Fiori das Neves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kiko Maciel in the 91st minute of the match. Kiko Maciel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fiori das Neves having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Valério Carvalho managed to get in a good position for a shot. falcão's supporters rose to their feet, but Valério Carvalho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fiori das Neves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Kiko Maciel came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the falcão fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kiko Maciel couldn't finish the play. When the referee ended the match the falcão players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
