Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Bebeto Alves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kiko Maciel in the 4th minute of play. Luan da Costa hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. 5 minutes into the game, Diguinho Negri was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Capuaba's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave falcão the free kick. After 5 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Capuaba! An unexpected shot in the 11th minute by Carlos Eduardo Chaves got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Capuaba's Luan da Costa collided with an opponent after 12 minutes. The hit was so violent that he fractured his leg. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ademar Favoretto during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 13th match minute, falcão was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ademar Favoretto to maneuver through the defense. In the 14th minute, falcão's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Hugo Tinoco fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After 16 played minutes Capuaba got a freekick which was hit by Luís Eduardo Amorim. 17 minutes into the match, Capuaba's goal looked a bit too open when Adriano Reis came free, but Bebeto Alves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th match minute, Capuaba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Túlio Carneiro to maneuver through the defense. In the 24th minute of the match falcão got a corner. Capuaba's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Adriano Reis ran over to the corner to take the kick. Adriano Reis made a great header on falcão's corner, it was just that Capuaba's Bebeto Alves managed to reach the ball for a save. After a defensive mix-up in falcão's zone, Hugo Tinoco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ruy Vianna came out of the goal and Hugo Tinoco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 40th minute, Kiko Maciel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valério Carvalho in the 41st minute of play forced Capuaba's goalkeeper Bebeto Alves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hugo Tinoco was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of falcão booed when Capuaba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ediberto de Mendonça didn't get a good kick on the ball. falcão's Kiko Maciel got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 53 minutes into the game, Rubinho Furlan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Capuaba's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave falcão the free kick. The supporters of falcão booed when Capuaba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rubinho Furlan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Valério Carvalho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Valério Carvalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. falcão's Ruy Vianna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hugo Tinoco in the 65th minute of play. In the 67th minute, Conrado de Brito ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ruy Vianna was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Hugo Paranaense hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. 77 minutes into the match, Hugo Tinoco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ruy Vianna. falcão's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hugo Tinoco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. After a rather tough play, falcão's Túlio Lima got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Luís Eduardo Amorim took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 82nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ruy Vianna. falcão's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Carlos Eduardo Chaves hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Hugo Tinoco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ruy Vianna read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Conrado de Brito recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hugo Tinoco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. falcão's Ruy Vianna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Conrado de Brito in the 95th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Capuaba had played much better football throughout.
