The supporters of DRAMA FC booed when Gotham City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomás Barreto didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 12 played minutes Gotham City got a freekick which was hit by Frank Rocha. After 13 played minutes Gotham City got a freekick which was hit by Glauco Paranaense. After 17 minutes, Bruno Coelho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gotham City and the DRAMA FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Faustão Carneiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bebeto Macedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 19th minute, Paulão de Azevedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gotham City's goalkeeper Faustão Carneiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 93rd minute, Frank Rocha ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luís Fábio Tinoco was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. DRAMA FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
