The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when João Adolfo Moraes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Eusébio Toscano fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Clube de Regatas MEC's protests and gave Eusébio Toscano a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Upanema EC booed when Clube de Regatas MEC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eusébio Toscano didn't get a good kick on the ball.
