Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) ajax fc's Raúl Trevisan started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 8th minute, Raúl Trevisan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nilton Bertassi was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Cléberson Diniz kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Dieguinho Marquez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jardel Chaves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arapapa AD's Nilton Bertassi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raúl Trevisan in the 16th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Raúl Trevisan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nilton Bertassi was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. Gildo Torres might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nilton Bertassi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gildo Torres ran back to his position shaking his head. Dieguinho Marquez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Norberto Guedes, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. When Raúl Trevisan came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the ajax fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raúl Trevisan couldn't finish the play. After 40 played minutes Arapapa AD got a freekick which was hit by Erivaldo de Medeiros. After 42 played minutes, ajax fc's Tadeu Macedo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Nilton Bertassi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in ajax fc reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raúl Trevisan in the 43rd minute of play forced Arapapa AD's goalkeeper Nilton Bertassi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mário Ortiz was the one to do the kick off. Dieguinho Marquez came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Arapapa AD's Norberto Guedes. But to his dismay, Norberto Guedes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The ajax fc fans' excitement grew in the 56th match minute when ajax fc's Raúl Trevisan looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Nilton Bertassi was a little too slow when Raúl Trevisan got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 59th minute. The score was now 1-3. Mário Ortiz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Dieguinho Marquez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 66 minutes into the game, Arapapa AD's Norberto Guedes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dieguinho Marquez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. A collision led to Arapapa AD getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Norberto Guedes hit a great ball. When Mário Ortiz came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Arapapa AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mário Ortiz couldn't finish the play. Arapapa AD's Mário Ortiz got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mário Ortiz scored 4-3 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dieguinho Marquez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. ajax fc's Dieguinho Marquez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mário Ortiz in the 91st minute of play. Arapapa AD's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
