Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wágner Matos ran back to his position shaking his head. Fellipe de Moraes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conrado Figueiredo having to interfere. Gatot Fernandez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conrado Figueiredo having to interfere. After 17 minutes of play, Grêmio's Benicio Hustaz made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Daniel Jacobsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gustav Håkansson's late challenge caught a Smallville's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gustav Håkansson helped the player get up and apologised. Gatot Fernandez came free with the goalkeeper in the 27th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Conrado Figueiredo could save by the left post. Conrado Figueiredo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fellipe de Moraes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 38 minutes into the match, Linus Stålman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Daniel Jacobsson. Smallville's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Linus Stålman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Gustav Håkansson kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gatot Fernandez got free with Conrado Figueiredo in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 45th minute, Smallville's Fellipe de Moraes dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Through an outstanding action, after 54 minutes, Daniel Jacobsson successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Conrado Figueiredo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fellipe de Moraes went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Linus Stålman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Jacobsson having to interfere. In the 68th minute, Fellipe de Moraes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Smallville fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Grêmio's Conrado Figueiredo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fiori Recife in the 71st minute of play. Conrado Figueiredo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fellipe de Moraes in the 73rd minute of play. 76 minutes into the game, Gatot Fernandez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Conrado Figueiredo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 78th minute, Fellipe de Moraes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Smallville's Edinho Freitas got a free kick in the 82nd minute. 85 minutes into the game, Smallville's Christian de Moraes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Conrado Figueiredo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-2. Smallville's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
