Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gilvan Abraão got the match started through his kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aluísio Lima in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amauri Leão saved Inesopolis from getting behind. Amauri Leão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manfredo de Queiroz, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Derrubada's Edmílson Travassos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Derrubada from getting a goal against them. 17 minutes into the match, Derrubada's goal looked a bit too open when Gilvan Abraão came free, but Edmílson Travassos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Inesopolis's Amauri Leão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aluísio Lima in the 18th minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 21st minute of the game. One of Inesopolis:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Derrubada:s goal. Gilvan Abraão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Edmílson Travassos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aluísio Lima fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amauri Leão having to interfere. 35 minutes into the match, Derrubada's goal looked a bit too open when Gilvan Abraão came free, but Edmílson Travassos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Murilo Arantes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Murilo Arantes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edmílson Travassos was out of position in the 42 minute of play, and Eusébio Antunes capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Eusébio Antunes really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Manfredo de Queiroz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Amauri Leão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aluísio Lima to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Derrubada's zone, Murilo Arantes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edmílson Travassos came out of the goal and Murilo Arantes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Gilvan Abraão's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edmílson Travassos was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. Kléberson Guimarães's late challenge caught a Inesopolis's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kléberson Guimarães helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Inesopolis booed when Derrubada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kléberson Guimarães didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Derrubada's zone, Murilo Arantes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edmílson Travassos came out of the goal and Murilo Arantes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Inesopolis booed when Derrubada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guga Saraiva didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gilvan Abraão in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edmílson Travassos saved Derrubada from getting behind. 60 minutes into the game, Gilvan Abraão was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Inesopolis's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Derrubada the free kick. In the 60th minute, Gilvan Abraão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aluísio Lima received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Amauri Leão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amauri Leão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aluísio Lima in the 68th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Thiago Gerber during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 69th minute, one of Inesopolis:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Inesopolis. Inesopolis:s Amauri Leão showed great skill when he stopped Oséias Cordeiro:s penalty. Edmílson Travassos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Murilo Arantes in the 74th minute of play. Edmílson Travassos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Murilo Arantes in the 76th minute of the match. In the 80th minute of the match, Aluísio Lima tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Amauri Leão saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Aluísio Lima was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 83rd minute. Derrubada's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Manfredo de Queiroz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Amauri Leão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gilvan Abraão's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edmílson Travassos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Derrubada's Kléberson Guimarães got a free kick in the 90th minute. In the 91st minute Murilo Arantes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmílson Travassos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
