A collision led to Peaky Blinders getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. André Luiz de Lima hit a great ball. If João Adolfo Barreto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Squadra Borges Azzura booed when Peaky Blinders was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Walmir Tepedino didn't get a good kick on the ball. João Adolfo Barreto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivo Diniz having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Squadra Borges Azzura's Reinaldo Peres got a free kick in the 9th minute. A collision led to Peaky Blinders getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Basílio Fantini hit a great ball. In the 12th minute Zézinho Leão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivo Diniz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 13 minutes, Tiago de Godoi successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Walmir Tepedino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiago de Godoi having to interfere. Tiago de Godoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Luiz de Lima in the 16th minute of the match. In the 29th minute, Reinaldo Peres left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Squadra Borges Azzura fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 36 minutes into the game, André Luiz de Lima recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tiago de Godoi. André Luiz de Lima showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. When the match had been going on for 40 minutes, Peaky Blinders's André Luiz de Lima got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Tiago de Godoi. Peaky Blinders's André Luiz de Lima got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The wind increased when Reinaldo Peres made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Reinaldo Peres got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ivo Diniz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reinaldo Peres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 57th minute, Tião Furtado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 58 minutes, Zézinho Leão mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Squadra Borges Azzura and the Peaky Blinders players grew even worse after the yellow card. Zézinho Leão hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Tiago de Godoi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of César Saraiva's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. Tiago de Godoi came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Peaky Blinders's César Saraiva. But to his dismay, César Saraiva quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Peaky Blinders's Dedê Salgado was substituted for César Saraiva. Peaky Blinders's João Leme was substituted for Betão Quintal. Squadra Borges Azzura's Tiago de Godoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by André Luiz de Lima in the 91st minute of play. Dedê Salgado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Squadra Borges Azzura players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Peaky Blinders.
