Glauco Neiva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Percival Baiano having to interfere. 8 minutes into the match, Celtic Sport Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Benê Fonseca came free, but Percival Baiano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th minute, Glauco Neiva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 30 minutes, Ronaldo de Azevedo made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Sans Souci F.C's Ediberto Bittencourt tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Celtic Sport Clube getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Fernando Dracena hit a great ball. Percival Baiano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benê Fonseca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 38 minutes into the game, Carlos Augusto Arantes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Ediberto Bittencourt was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Benê Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Benê Fonseca made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Thiago de Castro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ediberto Bittencourt was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. When Sans Souci F.C's Benê Fonseca in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Celtic Sport Clube's goalie prevented a goal. Benê Pena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Percival Baiano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 64th minute, Carlos Augusto Arantes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ediberto Bittencourt was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. If Caco Abreu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sans Souci F.C's Ediberto Bittencourt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Augusto Arantes in the 74th minute of play. Glauco Neiva charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Glauco Neiva the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 75th match minute, Sans Souci F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Glauco Neiva to maneuver through the defense. If Thiago de Castro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 85 minutes into the match, Caco Abreu notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Sans Souci F.C's Ediberto Bittencourt. Ediberto Bittencourt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ediberto Bittencourt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caco Abreu in the 90th minute of play. Sans Souci F.C's Ediberto Bittencourt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caco Abreu in the 92nd minute of play. 94 minutes into the game, Celtic Sport Clube's Thiago de Castro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ediberto Bittencourt made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-1. There was no doubt that Celtic Sport Clube were the better team. Celtic Sport Clube's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
