Ricardo Abraão came out of the goal and Geovânio Rodrigues tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rafael Schmidt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gualter Dante in the 22nd minute of play. When Corrida's Alessandro Cordeiro in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Liga Palhocense's goalie prevented a goal. Alessandro Cordeiro scored 0-1 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rafael Schmidt, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rafael Schmidt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alessandro Cordeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. The supporters of Liga Palhocense booed when Corrida was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Guimarães didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 44th minute, Gualter Dante made a precise shot to the right of Rafael Schmidt. Liga Palhocense's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Liga Palhocense's Juan Macedo got his second yellow card of the match in the 47th minute. The referee ordered Juan Macedo off the ground. Juan Macedo hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The ball had pretty good speed, but Rafael Schmidt firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 63 played minutes Corrida got a freekick which was hit by Gualter Dante. After a rather tough play, Liga Palhocense's Leandro Linares got a free kick in the 64th minute. Rafael Schmidt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gualter Dante in the 66th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gualter Dante in the 68th minute of play forced Liga Palhocense's goalkeeper Rafael Schmidt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rafael Schmidt was out of position in the 70 minute of play, and Gualter Dante capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gualter Dante really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. 74 minutes into the match, Liga Palhocense's goalkeeper Rafael Schmidt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alessandro Cordeiro. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alessandro Cordeiro got free with Rafael Schmidt in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alessandro Cordeiro in the 83rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Rafael Schmidt yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. Geovânio Rodrigues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 95th minute of the match, Alessandro Cordeiro got a very nice opportunity to score, but Rafael Schmidt was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as Jean Nóbrega kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rafael Schmidt. That made the score 0-5 in the 96 minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Corrida walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
