Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Ademir Passos made the kick off which started today's match. In the 3rd minute, Luiz Fabiano Gerber got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 4 minutes, Agnaldo Cruz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Furtainha SC and the FLAMENGO players grew even worse after the yellow card. The FLAMENGO fans' excitement grew in the 10th match minute when FLAMENGO's Ademir Passos looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Gláuber Costa hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. If Dênis Peres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 17th minute Luiz Fabiano Gerber shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frederico Magalhães saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, Dênis Peres had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Frederico Magalhães. FLAMENGO's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dênis Peres was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luiz Fabiano Gerber in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Frederico Magalhães prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd rose to their feet as Ademir Passos kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Durval Costa. That made the score 2-1 in the 31 minute of play. In the 34th minute Luiz Fabiano Gerber shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frederico Magalhães saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ademir Passos was extremely unlucky when he, in the 35th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After a rather tough play, Furtainha SC's Dênis Peres got a free kick in the 37th minute. In the 41st match minute, FLAMENGO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ademir Passos to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Ronaldão Tinoco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Durval Costa having to interfere. 52 minutes into the game, Ademir Passos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Durval Costa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luiz Fabiano Gerber blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Frederico Magalhães having to make a save. Agnaldo Cruz was shown his second yellow card after 59 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 60th match minute, Furtainha SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agnaldo Cruz to maneuver through the defense. Ademir Passos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in FLAMENGO's zone, Dênis Peres stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Frederico Magalhães came out of the goal and Dênis Peres tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dênis Peres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Frederico Magalhães tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 74 minutes into the game, Dênis Peres cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Frederico Magalhães was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Furtainha SC's zone, Ademir Passos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Durval Costa came out of the goal and Ademir Passos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Clóvis de Sena's late challenge caught a FLAMENGO's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Clóvis de Sena helped the player get up and apologised. In the 95th minute, Clóvis de Sena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gláuber Costa was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 96th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. FLAMENGO had won after a very even match.
