The Mozondo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. If Edgar Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. André Luiz Vieira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valdo Britto having to interfere. Mozondo's Vítor Donatello got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 29 minutes into the match, Vítor Donatello notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Carapicuiba's Valdo Britto. Valdo Britto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Thomás Veloso was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 35 minutes had been played. Mozondo's Gilberto da Mata played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Víktor Hermes in the 36th minute of play. With a little luck, Carapicuiba's Valdo Britto got control of the ball when Vítor Donatello tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 39 minutes, Wilson Diniz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mozondo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wilson Diniz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vítor Donatello received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Valdo Britto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 42 played minutes Carapicuiba got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Berger. Carlos Berger kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Vítor Donatello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valdo Britto having to interfere. In the 47th minute André Luiz Vieira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valdo Britto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vítor Donatello to make the kick off. Valdo Britto came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Mozondo's Vítor Donatello. But to his dismay, Vítor Donatello quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Valdo Britto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vítor Donatello in the 56th minute of play. Vítor Donatello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Vítor Donatello managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mozondo's supporters rose to their feet, but Vítor Donatello was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valdo Britto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 64th minute, André Luiz Vieira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 71st minute of the game, Sydney Hermes landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. After 72 played minutes Carapicuiba got a freekick which was hit by André Nogueira. 79 minutes into the match, Carapicuiba's goal looked a bit too open when André Luiz Vieira came free, but Valdo Britto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 80 minutes into the match, André Luiz Vieira notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Carapicuiba's Valdo Britto. Valdo Britto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. There was no doubt that Mozondo were the better team. Mozondo's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
