Adriano Tavaress short, quick shot in the 16thth minute got Orlando de Queiroz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 18th minute of the match, Tiago Leite tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Orlando de Queiroz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After taking down the ball on Red Nozes Football Club's corner Tiago Leite fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Orlando de Queiroz quite easily take care of the ball. Orlando de Queiroz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tiago Leite's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Raizinhas's Orlando de Queiroz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Raizinhas from getting a goal against them. In the 32nd minute of the match Erivaldo Faustino sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jorginho Loureiro skillfully saved the ball. Adriano Tavares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno de Souza in the 48th minute of play forced Red Nozes Football Club's goalkeeper Jorginho Loureiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tiago Leite to make the kick off. Raizinhas's Bruno de Souza got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 60th minute Tiago Leite shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orlando de Queiroz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 62 minutes into the game, Luciano Paranaense was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Raizinhas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Red Nozes Football Club the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Raizinhas fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 61st minute. Penalty! Jorginho Loureiro made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Yan Palmeira sent off a good shot on target. In the 73rd minute, Yan Palmeira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 80 minutes into the match, Raizinhas's goal looked a bit too open when Davi Mineiro came free, but Orlando de Queiroz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Raizinhas getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Ademar Tavares hit a great ball. Tiago Leite's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Orlando de Queiroz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. When Romário Vasconcelos fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Raizinhas's protests and gave Romário Vasconcelos a yellow card for diving instead. Tiago Leite struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Orlando de Queiroz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Red Nozes Football Club. In the 98th match minute, Raizinhas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomé Carioca to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Red Nozes Football Club fans cheered their team off the field, for while Raizinhas had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
