Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Kiko Galvão started the match with the kick off. Antônio Carlos Sousa scored 0-1 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Afonso Negri, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 7th match minute, G.F. Baruerinthians was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Afonso de Sousa to maneuver through the defense. Antônio Carlos Sousa kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Antônio Carlos Sousa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramón Madureira in the 17th minute of play forced AIK Scotland Lyonais's goalkeeper Fernandão Macedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Murillo Severo kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. The supporters of G.F. Baruerinthians booed when AIK Scotland Lyonais was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mazinho Leão didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fernandão Macedo made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Alexandre de Alcântara sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 29 minutes, Benjamim Marquez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AIK Scotland Lyonais's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benjamim Marquez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Afonso Negri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antônio Carlos Sousa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Antônio Carlos Sousa might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Afonso Negri. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Antônio Carlos Sousa ran back to his position shaking his head. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Benjamim Marquez put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Afonso Negri. Dedê Vidal kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. AIK Scotland Lyonais's Antônio Carlos Sousa got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Afonso Negri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 46 minutes of play, AIK Scotland Lyonais's Benjamim Marquez made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Afonso Negri was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Benjamim Marquez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Ramón Madureira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kiko Galvão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernandão Macedo having to interfere. Antônio Carlos Sousa's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 60thth minute, Afonso Negri skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Mateus Ferraz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Afonso Negri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 78th minute of the match, Benjamim Marquez tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Afonso Negri saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Benjamim Marquez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mateus Ferraz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Afonso Negri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Benjamim Marquez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Afonso Negri was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. With an all-out effort, AIK Scotland Lyonais's Afonso Negri threw himself towards the right post 91 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Benjamim Marquez, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Alexandre de Alcântara's late challenge caught a AIK Scotland Lyonais's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alexandre de Alcântara helped the player get up and apologised. In the 94th minute, one of G.F. Baruerinthians:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for G.F. Baruerinthians. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benjamim Marquez in the 98th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Afonso Negri prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The G.F. Baruerinthians fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. AIK Scotland Lyonais were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
