Agnaldo Bittencourt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caco Duarte in the 28th minute of play. A collision led to Jaboticabal Atletico getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Leopoldo Santos hit a great ball. 35 minutes into the game, Horácio Branco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Agnaldo Bittencourt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Caco Duarte, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. With his leg Tibúrcio Couto managed to avoid a goal in the 90thth minute, when Jaboticabal Atletico's José Vítor Castro fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 98 minutes into the match, José Vítor Castro dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Tibúrcio Couto, 0-5. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Jaboticabal Atletico had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
