Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when José Vítor Castro took the kick off in the first half of the match. Benjamim Marquez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jorginho Viana during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 8 played minutes Jaboticabal Atletico got a freekick which was hit by Jorginho Viana. In the 10th minute Benjamim Marquez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Agnaldo Bittencourt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Jaboticabal Atletico's zone, Benjamim Marquez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Agnaldo Bittencourt came out of the goal and Benjamim Marquez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jaboticabal Atletico's Agnaldo Bittencourt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamim Marquez in the 13th minute of play. In the 16th minute of the match, Leopoldo Santos tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Fernandão Macedo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Benjamim Marquez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agnaldo Bittencourt having to interfere. AIK Scotland Lyonais's Antônio Carlos Sousa got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gustavo de Lima kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Fernandinho Almeida charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fernandinho Almeida the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. With a little luck, AIK Scotland Lyonais's Fernandão Macedo got control of the ball when José Vítor Castro tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Benjamim Marquez managed to get in a good position for a shot. AIK Scotland Lyonais's supporters rose to their feet, but Benjamim Marquez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Agnaldo Bittencourt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Benjamim Marquez made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Jaboticabal Atletico's Edgar Gerber seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Edgar Gerber the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Jaboticabal Atletico protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Edgar Gerber had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 51 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Jaboticabal Atletico! When Júnior Fontes came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Jaboticabal Atletico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Júnior Fontes couldn't finish the play. Agnaldo Bittencourt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antônio Carlos Sousa in the 62nd minute. Jaboticabal Atletico's Júnior Fontes got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mateus Ferraz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Agnaldo Bittencourt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antônio Carlos Sousa in the 84th minute. When the match was over AIK Scotland Lyonais could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Jaboticabal Atletico throughout the match.
