Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Vito Mello started the match with the kick off. Germano Soares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vito Mello in the 3rd minute of the match. 5 minutes into the game, Vito Mello cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Germano Soares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 15th match minute, Muquicaba AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edu Mandrak to maneuver through the defense. If Vito Mello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 25th minute, Pedro Paulo Batista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Giovanni Pinheiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 34th minute, Elói Ramos reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Willian Luz. The goal made the score 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aílton Soares got free with Willian Luz in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 41 minutes into the match, Muquicaba AD's goal looked a bit too open when Vito Mello came free, but Germano Soares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Willian Luz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elói Ramos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Manfredo de Godoi kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Elói Ramos made a kick off. Muquicaba AD's Germano Soares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Muquicaba AD from getting a goal against them. Germano Soares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vito Mello in the 54th minute of the match. Giovanni Pinheiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vito Mello in the 58th minute of play forced Muquicaba AD's goalkeeper Germano Soares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Muquicaba AD's Germano Soares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Muquicaba AD from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Letras FC booed when Muquicaba AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Paulo Batista didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Giovanni Pinheiro got free with Germano Soares in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 67th minute, Giovanni Pinheiro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Letras FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Vito Mello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 73rd match minute, Letras FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Fernando Vaz to maneuver through the defense. In the 74thth minute of the game Elói Ramos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Letras FC's Willian Luz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 75 minutes, Enéas Mazza mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Letras FC and the Muquicaba AD players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 75th minute, one of Letras FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Letras FC. The referee gave Muquicaba AD a penalty, 77 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Pedro Augusto Tasso, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Letras FC's Willian Luz. 2-2. Muquicaba AD's Germano Soares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vito Mello in the 80th minute of play. After some careless play in the Muquicaba AD defense, Vito Mello kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Germano Soares. The Muquicaba AD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Germano Soares should have stopped the shot. Willian Luz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elói Ramos in the 88th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Giovanni Pinheiro in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Germano Soares saved Muquicaba AD from getting behind. Letras FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
