Willian Luz went to the wrong direction when Juarês Brasil was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. In the 26th minute, Giovanni Pinheiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tomé Prata kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Allan Cavalcante struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Willian Luz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Toboco FC - FSCMZ. In the 34th minute of the match Didi Cardoso sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Willian Luz skillfully saved the ball. Vitinho Fontes charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vitinho Fontes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 39 played minutes Toboco FC - FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Vitinho Fontes. Giovanni Pinheiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Ediberto Sarmento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

After some careless play in the Letras FC defense, Allan Cavalcante kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Willian Luz. The Letras FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Willian Luz should have stopped the shot. Ediberto Sarmento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vito Mello in the 58th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Toboco FC - FSCMZ's zone, Giovanni Pinheiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ediberto Sarmento came out of the goal and Giovanni Pinheiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 77 played minutes Letras FC got a freekick which was hit by Giovanni Pinheiro. In the 79th minute of the match, Leonel Paes tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Willian Luz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Ediberto Sarmento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vito Mello in the 89th minute of the match. Letras FC's Vito Mello got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 93 minutes into the game, Vito Mello cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Ediberto Sarmento was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Allan Cavalcante could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 98th minute of the match, but Willian Luz made a huge save.
