A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Rodrigo Pereira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cido Silveira, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. A collision led to Almesca SS getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Dino França hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Almesca SS defense, Wágner Ferraz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rodrigo Pereira. The Almesca SS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rodrigo Pereira should have stopped the shot. In the 27th play minute Eduardo Machado came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Tião Santos. 2-2. When Tuiuti's Wágner Ferraz in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Almesca SS's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Tuiuti's Renan Sampaio got a free kick in the 37th minute. 41 minutes into the match, Cido Silveira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rodrigo Pereira. Almesca SS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cido Silveira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. Cido Silveira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 2-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

If Cido Silveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Cido Silveira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tuiuti's supporters rose to their feet, but Cido Silveira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rodrigo Pereira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 57th minute, Cido Silveira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eduardo Machado in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tião Santos saved Tuiuti from getting behind. Dário Simões shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. 69 minutes into the match, Almesca SS's goalkeeper Rodrigo Pereira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wágner Ferraz. Cido Silveira struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Rodrigo Pereira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tuiuti. 75 minutes into the match, Almesca SS's goal looked a bit too open when Cido Silveira came free, but Rodrigo Pereira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Tuiuti's Wágner Ferraz got a free kick in the 79th minute. Cido Silveira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wágner Ferraz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, Almesca SS's Rodrigo Pereira got control of the ball when Wágner Ferraz tried to sneak it across the goal line.
