After 6 minutes, Elias Trancoso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tuiuti and the Qra TOMATE players grew even worse after the yellow card. Flávio Madureira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tião Santos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flávio Madureira, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Flávio Madureira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Tião Santos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wágner Ferraz in the 34thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Arnaldo Romero, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Tião Santos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flávio Madureira in the 36th minute of play. After having played for 37 minutes, Wágner Ferraz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tuiuti's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wágner Ferraz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Qra TOMATE's defense didn't have a chance, in the 39th minute, when Wilton Leão scored to the left of an out of position Arnaldo Romero, making the score, 2-1. After 42nd play minutes Flávio Madureira shot 2-2, a short shot which went by Tião Santos and just under the crossbar into goal. After some careless play in the Tuiuti defense, Flávio Madureira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tião Santos. The Tuiuti fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tião Santos should have stopped the shot. The Tuiuti players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Qra TOMATE were winning 2-3.

Renan Sampaio kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Flávio Madureira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tião Santos was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. When Cido Silveira fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tuiuti's protests and gave Cido Silveira a yellow card for diving instead. After 60 played minutes Tuiuti got a freekick which was hit by Cido Silveira. Flávio Madureira in the 61stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Tião Santos, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 63rd minute, Donato Cearense made a precise shot to the right of Tião Santos. Tuiuti's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-4. Tião Santos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Flávio Madureira in the 68th minute of the match. Anísio Pontes struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Tião Santos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Qra TOMATE. Wágner Ferraz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Arnaldo Romero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tião Santos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Flávio Madureira in the 78th minute of the match. Arnaldo Romero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilton Leão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Flávio Madureira who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 90thth minute tested the skills of Tião Santos when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Flávio Madureira in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tião Santos saved Tuiuti from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Flávio Madureira in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tião Santos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the final whistle sounded Qra TOMATE left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Tuiuti.
