Val Hallar's Wilson Marquez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Val Hallar from getting a goal against them. In the 5th minute of the match, Wágner Ferraz got a very nice opportunity to score, but Wilson Marquez was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. If Fabrício Fontes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Renan Sampaio's late challenge caught a Val Hallar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Renan Sampaio helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Tuiuti getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Renan Sampaio hit a great ball. If Dino Fernandes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 14 minutes into the game, Val Hallar's Fabrício Fontes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tião Santos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. When the match clock showed 17 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Dino Fernandes sped through Tuiuti's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tião Santos. Val Hallar's Wilson Marquez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Val Hallar from getting a goal against them. After 21 minutes of play, Val Hallar's Edmundo Bezerra made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tião Santos was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Fabrício Fontes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tião Santos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dino Fernandes in the 25th minute of the match. Edmundo Bezerra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Tião Santos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tião Santos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Bezerra in the 31st minute of the match. Tião Santos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Bezerra in the 32nd minute of play. Dino Fernandes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 38th minute, Fabrício Fontes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tião Santos was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Fabrício Fontes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tião Santos having to interfere. Wágner Ferraz came free with the goalkeeper in the 43rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Wilson Marquez could save by the left post. Tião Santos didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Val Hallar's Dino Fernandes shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-5 in the ordered_time% minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cido Silveira to strike the kick off in the second half. Tião Santos made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Edmundo Bezerra sent off a good shot on target. Wilson Marquez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cido Silveira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 66 minutes into the match, Edmundo Bezerra dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Tião Santos, 0-6. With splendid footwork Edmundo Bezerra arrived in front of goal to shoot 0-7 by the left pole in the game's 68th minute. Tuiuti's Tião Santos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dino Fernandes in the 72nd minute of play. 77 minutes into the match, Tuiuti's goalkeeper Tião Santos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fabrício Fontes. After some careless play in the Val Hallar defense, Wilton Leão kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wilson Marquez. The Val Hallar fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wilson Marquez should have stopped the shot. Through an outstanding action, after 88 minutes, Tião Santos successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 93 minutes into the game, Edmundo Bezerra recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tião Santos. Edmundo Bezerra showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-8. The Tuiuti fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Val Hallar were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
