Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Flávio Madureira took the kick off in the first half of the match. 5 minutes into the game, Flávio Madureira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Rodrigo Pereira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Flávio Madureira got free with Rodrigo Pereira in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 10 played minutes Almesca SS got a freekick which was hit by Edu Andrade. If Flávio Madureira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Flávio Madureira who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 26thth minute tested the skills of Rodrigo Pereira when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Almesca SS's Adalmo Cunha got a free kick in the 33rd minute. In the 34th minute, Leopoldo Sarmento got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 36 minutes into the match, Almesca SS's goalkeeper Rodrigo Pereira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Flávio Madureira. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donato Cearense in the 37th minute of play forced Almesca SS's goalkeeper Rodrigo Pereira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnaldo Romero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Carlos de Souza in the 41st minute of the match. Manfredo Guimarães hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Rodrigo Pereira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leopoldo Sarmento, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Flávio Madureira in the 52nd minute of play forced Almesca SS's goalkeeper Rodrigo Pereira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Anísio Pontes came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Qra TOMATE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anísio Pontes couldn't finish the play. Flávio Madureira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Eduardo Machado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnaldo Romero having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Almesca SS's Claudinho Bertassi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Arnaldo Romero. That made the score 1-1 after 59 minutes of play. In the 64thth minute of the game Flávio Madureira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Almesca SS's Rodrigo Pereira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Flávio Madureira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eduardo Machado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Arnaldo Romero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 70 minutes into the match, Flávio Madureira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rodrigo Pereira. Almesca SS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Flávio Madureira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. After 78 minutes, Pedrinho Nascimento mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Qra TOMATE and the Almesca SS players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the match had been going on for 79 minutes, Almesca SS's Jarbas Varela got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Arnaldo Romero. When Qra TOMATE's Flávio Madureira in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Almesca SS's goalie prevented a goal. Flávio Madureira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Rodrigo Pereira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Qra TOMATE's Arnaldo Romero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudinho Bertassi in the 87th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Donato Cearense managed to get in a good position for a shot. Qra TOMATE's supporters rose to their feet, but Donato Cearense was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rodrigo Pereira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Dino França fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Almesca SS's protests and gave Dino França a yellow card for diving instead. Rodrigo Pereira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anísio Pontes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 99 minutes into the game, Almesca SS's Eduardo Machado nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arnaldo Romero made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. Although Qra TOMATE had been in control for most of the match, Almesca SS still came away with the win.
