The Reparticao fans' excitement grew in the 4th match minute when Reparticao's Zé Oliveira looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Zé Oliveira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benjamim Arósio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. Benjamim Arósio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Almir Moura, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. After a rather tough play, Xambioazinho's Nelsinho Machado got a free kick in the 12th minute. Zé Oliveira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamim Arósio having to interfere. In the 19th minute, Serafim Dracena got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Serafim Dracena got free with Benjamim Arósio in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Xambioazinho's Serginho Donato got a free kick in the 22nd minute. After having played for 23 minutes, Almir Moura managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Reparticao's supporters crossed their fingers, but Almir Moura was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Reparticao booed when Xambioazinho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernandinho Loureiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benjamim Arósio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Almir Moura, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. After 38 played minutes Xambioazinho got a freekick which was hit by Serginho Donato. An unexpectedly hard shot by Almir Moura in the 42nd minute of play forced Xambioazinho's goalkeeper Benjamim Arósio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 43rd match minute, Xambioazinho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nelsinho Machado to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Serafim Dracena during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Durval Ortiz struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Carlinhos Madureira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Xambioazinho. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Almir Moura to make the kick off. Oséas Martins kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. In the 60th minute Almir Moura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamim Arósio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Serafim Dracena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Xambioazinho's Luís Fabiano de Carvalho got a free kick in the 67th minute. Durval Ortiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Almir Moura recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Benjamim Arósio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Almir Moura's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. After 90 played minutes, Reparticao's Ulysses Arruda shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Benjamim Arósio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Reparticao reached it. Benjamim Arósio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Serafim Dracena, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. A collision led to Reparticao getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Zé Oliveira hit a great ball. Reparticao walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
